Dollie's Journey...so far

Hi All,

I've missed you!

I'm sorry I haven't been updating and adding to my blog for some time. I've had really unreliable wifi in my house/room and that has led to a TON of frustration. And then last November, my Dollie, aka The Queen, was diagnosed with severe dry eye! Honestly, I didn't even know pets could get that. She began to get ulcers in both eyes and eventually she began to lose her sight. Odd, but I also have severe dry eye, but I had no idea my baby would also get it. Since then, it's been a lot of vet visits and medications 3x to 4x a day! And then eventually we were sent to an eye specialist and was told she can get better over time.  And it has gotten better after 10 months. Doll's an excellent patient, a real trooper! And we're fortunate she has an amazing eye doctor. Check out a few photos of my girl below.

Now were in our 10th month and she can see again!!! The ulcers are so much better. And hopefully her dry eye diagnosis clears up overtime. We have a long way to go, but we'll get there.

And my Dollie has now officially retired from being the muse for So I'm Legally Blind. She was such a wonderful model and yes, sometimes prickly during her photo shoots when I didn't provide the cookies fast enough. LOL

But now she gets to enjoy her retirement with her feline sisters Ruby and Pearl. So as Dollie continues to get better, and my wifi hopefully gets better, I can post again. I'm so happy!

Thank you all for your ongoing patience and support!

Enjoy & Get Informed!
